This industrial display font is inspired

by a big neon Grain Belt Beer sign
that welcomes visitors into Northeast
Minneapolis. It is the unofficial flag of
Chank's neighborhood. This simple
geometric serif font was featured as
the Chank Font of the Month for
August 1999

Notice the bottlecap that dots
the lowercase i.

A trip to the hospital gave Chank the
time to draw all his favorite doodles
for these two fonts. Chankbats Critters
and Chankbats Objects. Chank's iconic
repertoire has been growing over the
years, evolving from the simple cat,
dog. and spoon sketches to the more
advanced chair, tick, and Justin-
Timberlake-wearing-Christina-
Aguilera's-bandana.
