The first quire, signed A, as well as leaf в i seem to have been
printed from the same typesetting as used in the specimen
issued by J. L. Pfeiffer, Amsterdam, see this List no. 88.
The date 1752 is inferred from the frequent mention of this
year in the specimen.
On leaf с i recto of this specimen the Groóte Garmond Curcyf
is displayed, the appearance of which was announced in
the broadsheet specimen of 1752 (no. 86) for December of
the same year. The broadside must therefore precede the
present specimen.
