How do you do it?
To baseline shift, first select the character(s). Then:
* In Adobe PageMaker, use the Control Palette: type in a positive or
negative amount in the bottom right corner, or click the tiny nudge
arrows up or down. To nudge in an amount that is ten times the
increment you have set in your Preferences dialog box, hold down
the Shift key (in Mac versions before 6.5, use the Command key) .
Or use the Type Specs dialog box; click on "Options...."
You can add baseline shift to your style sheet.
* In Mac QuarkXPress, select the text, then :
to move up Command Option Shift +
to move down Command Option Shift -
(Use the + and - from the keyboard, not the numeric keypad).
In Windows QuarkXPress, select the text, then :
to move up Control Alt Shift )
to move down Control Alt Shift (
* Or in either Mac or Windows:
From the Style menu, choose "Baseline Shift" or "Character"
and type in a number in the "Baseline Shift" area in that
dialog box.
You can add baseline shift to your style sheet.
