Linotype Library Arabie Typefaces
Arabie script is written from right to left and'
thus requires an Arabic system (Arabic Macintosh
OS) or an "Arabic Language Kit from Apple"
which, although installed on a Latin system, can
function independently.
Application programmes must also be able to
support Arabic writing. Examples of application
programmes that can do this are "Nisus Writer
Multilingual"" and "Pagemaker* ME" etc.
Linotype Arabic character sets contain all the
appropriate ¡ndepen-dent and contextual forms,
common logotypes, diacritics, and a choice of
Arabic or Latin numerals.
These typefaces are not to be found on the
enclosed Linotype FontExplorer 1.5 CD-ROM as
they are currently only available in TrueType
format on disk for the Apple Macintosh platform.

obtained from us directly or from your Linotype

Linotype Library Arabische Schriften
Arabische Schrift wird von rechts nach links
geschrieben und benötigt deshalb ein arabisches
System (Arabic Macintosh OS), bzw. ein „Arabic
Language Kit von Apple", das auf lateinische Systeme
installiert werden kann und als eigenständiges System
fungiert.
Die Anwendungsprogramme müssen arabische
Schreibrichtung unterstützen, wie zum Beispiel „Nisus®
Writer Multilingual" und „PageMaker* ME", etc.
Alle Zeichensätze der arabischen Schriften von Linotype
Library enthalten Vokalzeichen sowie wahlweise
ostarabische oder westarabische Ziffern.
Diese Schriften sind nicht auf der beiliegenden Linotype
FontExplorer 1.5 CD-ROM enthalten. Sie sind vorerst
nur im TrueType Format für die Macintosh-Platform
separat auf Diskette lieferbar. Weitere Informationen
erhalten Sie von uns, oder Ihrem Linotype Library
Vertriebspartner.
Les polices de caractères arabes
de Linotype Library
L'écriture arabe se fait de droite à gauche. Elle requiert
donc un système d'exploitation assisté par un kit arabe
(Arabie Language Kit d'Apple) qui, bien qu'installé dans
un système latin, fonctionne de manière indépendante.
Pour fonctionner, les logiciels doivent également être
en mesure de supporter l'écriture arabe. On compte
parmi ces logiciels, par exemple «Nisus® Writer» ou
encore «PageMaker'" ME».
Les jeux de caractères arabes de Linotype Library
contiennent toutes les formes indépendantes et
contextuel/es appropriées, «les voyelles», les symboles
communs, /es diacritiques, et offrent le choix entre le
système de numérotation arabe ou latin.
Ces polices de caractères ne se retrouvent pas sur le
CD-ROM FontExplorer v. 1.5 ci-inclus. De plus, elles ne
sont disponibles que pour la plateforme Macintosh en
TrueType. Il est possible d'obtenir de plus amples
informations à propos des polices arabes en contactant
directement Linotype Library ou un revendeur autorisé.
