This font set is based on the handwrit¬
ing styles of quintessential American
artist Edward Hopper and his wife,
Josephine Nivision Hopper, and was
produced in conjunction with the
Whitney Museum of American Art.
Both artists kept a record of Edward's
paintings in a series of journals, which
provide the basis for this set. Unlike
font sets that feature two simitar
handwriting samples of one art.
the Edward Hopper font is typically
masculine, with its sharp angularity,
while the Josephine Hopper font
presents an interesting contrast,
given its elegant, rounded shape,
with significantly more flourish. The
extras, culled from the aforementioned
journals, feature fifty-two Hopper
sketches, which run the gamut from
landscapes to nude studies.

Italian Futurism (1908-43) was one of
the twentieth century's first and most
influential avant garde art movements.
Futurist typography sought to disrupt
traditional notions of harmony, space
and composition on the printed page.
The bold and jarring shapes of this set
faithfully recall a tumultuous era in both
Italian history and Italian graphic

developed by Edward Johnston for
the London Underground system in
1916 is available for the first time as
a commercial font in an exclusive
arrangement with the London
Transport Museum. The font, as well
as the all-caps, bold version, is true
to the original design, plus full
international characters are also
included. The extras feature graphic
elements inspired by the design
motifs of items including maps, tile
patterns and seat covers.
